The Lake Effect

For a moment each day I walk the beaches in Port Washington, Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Michigan, at the precipice of the Vast Blue. I am under influence with immersion, where moving in relation to the horizon defines and expresses our mutual forces, my feet on the shore, the sun dancing up the sky.

I pick up a rock or bone washed ashore to keep as talisman and turn treasure. This is a cavern of treasures from looking down and out beyond the mystery of the sand that whispers of possibility and potential.
